Introduction
OzCan is about sharing
Full access to the board is available once you've read and replied to the rules
Remember... once you've made a post - it's "public property", available to all for the taking. If it ends up on another forum - good, you must have made a good share!
Posting Rules
You are welcome to discuss almost anything you want, within reason.
Ponography, death, violence, gore, and graphic depiction of such will not be tolerated in posts.
Political and religious bashing, insulting nationalities are not permitted.
Certain topics and remarks (politics, race & religion for example) can be offensive to others.
The mods have the right to edit, remove or delete posts that receive complaints.
Think before you post, a little common sense goes a long way
No posting of live links
Live links are dangerous ... they can cause us to be shut down, so please be very careful.
To code your link:
Copy and paste or type the link into your post, then highlight it and click on the "code" button
Internal links within OzCanHome do not need to be coded
All posts in the download sections must include:
Topic title (include the name, version, build number)
Description ...
Homepage link
Download link (size if possible)
Addon download link (if applicable)
Rar/zip password (if applicable)
Screenshots
Screenshots are permitted as long as they've been upped to a personal image hosting site. Links to game/developer sites or other boards are NOT permitted.
Keep your screenshots small. Maximum size is 600 x 600 pixels
Hotlinking outside the board is not to be used ... for examples: click "here" bbcoding.
No posting of other warez boards/forums
Do not add a website, or server link to your signature.
Any posting of links to other boards is prohibited!
No posts that express ways to crack/hack a program are permitted
No Micr0soft Posts
You may request Micr0soft products or cracks or fixes, but answers MUST only be provided through PM or email.
Any link leading to M$ products and/or utilities/files to reverse engineer, "hack", serialize, replace the originals, or otherwise change any M$ product from its original specification are not to be posted (cracks-hacks-tutorials).
No Posting of SERIALS
No posts containing instructions on how to bypass protection schemes
Serial definition: Any given sequence of numbers and/or letters used for registering protected software.
Avatars and Signatures
Avatars and signatures may not contain inappropriate text, images, and/or other content. Some types of material that are inappropriate include:
Pornographic or nude images of males, females, adults, minors (even artistic nudity).
Death, violence, gore, and graphic depiction of such.
Profanity, Cuss words, curse words, swearing ... "bad" words.
Links to outside sources on the internet are not permitted. Do not add a website, or server link to your signature.
If you have questions about whether or not your avatar or signature is appropriate, PM a mod and ask.
HUGE sigs are not allowed. Please limit yourself to ONE signature only

Requests
You must have a post count of 5 before you can make a request - one in "introductions" one in "rulles, and three other good posts elsewhere on OzCanHome.
Requests must only be posted in the request board!
You are permitted one request at a time in any request forum
Please be specific in your request - include "what" you're looking for in the topic title.
Post as much information as possible in the subject-area - version, build-number, for media requests, include author, title, etc. The more info you provide, the better chance of your request being "Filled"
Posts with only "Help!" or "looking for" in the topic title may be deleted
If your request is filled please edit your subject line to read "Filled"
Searching
Search before you post - No double posting
Someone else may already have posted the same links and your post will be considered a double post.
If your links are different, add your post to the original thread.
Restrictions & Warnings
Editing of posts
* Staff Members are entitled to edit and correct any posts containing violations of our rules!
Deleting of posts
* If you wonder why your post was deleted, study the above rules!
Complaints about decisions
* Never start discussions about issued warnings etc. within threads!
* If you feel yourself misunderstood or similar, then always contact staff through PM.
* Public complaints and discussions of staff-decisions will be deleted immediately!
Staff decisions are final
Warnings for posts
Violating of any of our rules can result in a Warning.
Staff may also have to suspend, or ban members immediately if an extreme situation calls for it.
